Outstanding Student Advisement and Advocacy Award

The Outstanding Student Advisement and Advocacy Award honors faculty and professional staff members who exemplify excellence in academic advising and advocacy. Academic advising assists students in the development of meaningful educational plans that enrich their studies and promote the achievement of goals; it is fundamental to creating motivation to pursue academic excellence. This award is one way in which the University of Connecticut expresses its commitment to this very important component of higher education. One faculty member and one staff member will be selected to receive this award.
